My happy reality
Introduction
This years proyect talks about "The power of symbols"where we had to expres a topic of our choice inspired by another artist's work
Topic
As log as i can remember i have always been interested in stories with crazy fantasy worlds, my favorite being "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carrol. As i grew older I kept my interest in those ideas but a little darker, the concept of this fantasy world portrayed in the story being a product of the protagonists mind after a traumatic experience really caught my eye and led me to much darker stories such as the movie "The phan's labirynth" by Guillermo del Toro and videogames such as "Fran Bow" by KillMonday and Alice Madness returns. Many disciplines have debated for years on the question ¿What is reality?, however one thing is for sure and that is that reality is different each person since we al have a different perspectives of life, and it really intrigues me how the mind can distort reality after a traumatic experience and why.
Inspiration
I found inspiration for this proyects in the paintings of Salvador Dalí to portray that fantasy world that the protagonist portrays in her mind
